Protect the room, not just the phone.

Reroute One is a small device that holds the rule for you. Bring a phone near it and the distracting apps stop opening — no decision to make in the moment, no limit to override.

Intention is something you have to keep having.

The Reroute app pauses you before you enter a social media app and asks whether you meant to. That works — but it asks every time, and it asks you at the exact moment you're least equipped to answer well.

Some places deserve a firmer rule than a question. The dinner table. The bedroom. A classroom. The hour you promised someone. Reroute One lets you make that decision once, in advance, and then stop making it.

It comes out of the strap.

On the strap

The rule goes where you go. Your phone stays yours for calls, maps, and messages — the apps that eat hours simply don't open while you're wearing it.

On the table

Set it down and the space itself is protected — not just your phone, but every phone in the room that has opted in. Dinner becomes dinner again.

Small enough to forget you're wearing it.

One button. One light. Nothing to read, nothing to check, no screen to pull you back in.

Design in progress. Final hardware may differ.

It only works on phones that opted in.

A phone responds to Reroute One only if its owner installed the app and chose to. Walking past one changes nothing. This is a tool for holding yourself — and the people who agree with you — to something you already decided.

Common questions.

What does Reroute One do?
It is a small device that blocks distracting apps on phones near it. Bring your phone into its range and Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube stop opening. Calls, maps, and messages keep working normally.
How is it different from the Reroute app?
The app asks you to confirm your intention before you enter a social media app — it works by making you aware. Reroute One doesn't ask. Within its range, the distracting apps simply don't open. The app is for awareness; Reroute One is for the times you've already decided and don't want the decision again.
Do I have to wear it?
No. The device comes out of the strap. Worn, it protects you wherever you go. Set down on a table, it protects the space — every phone in range that has opted in, not just yours.
Does it block other people's phones without their permission?
No. A phone is only affected if its owner has installed the app and chosen to respond to Reroute One. Nobody's phone changes behaviour because they walked past a device.
When does it ship?
There is no ship date yet. It is in development. Joining the list means you hear first when there is something real to see, and it does not commit you to buying anything.

Be there when it's real.

It isn't finished and there's no ship date. Leave your email and we'll show you the moment there's something worth showing — not before.
